We're happy to say, YES! It's time to dust off the ice skates; Frozen Landing opens next week in the Quad Cities.

Frozen Landing, the Quad Cities only outdoor ice skating rink will open to the public Tuesday, November 23, 5 p.m.for the 2021/22 season with a tree lighting and opening ceremony.

Last year the rink remained closed for COVID and budgetary concerns.

Frozen Landing is located at 23rd Street and Middle Road next to Splash Landing in Bettendorf.

Frozen Landing will be open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 3 p.m. - 9 p.m., Wednesday, 1 p.m. -9 p.m.,  Friday, 3 p.m. - 10 p.m., Saturday, 11 a.m. - 10 p.m., and Sunday, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. You can call the rink's weather line to find out if inclement weather shuts the rink down at 563-549-0587.

Admission is $3 to skate and there's a $2 skate rental fee. Family night is every Sunday, 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. For a family of four; two adults and two children the fee is $10. Each additional family member is $2. 

The opening ceremony will include a greeting from Bettendorf Mayor Bob Gallagher, members of the Bettendorf city council followed by a tree lighting at 5:00 pm. and a performance from the Figure Skating Club of the Quad Cities.

Public skating begins at 5:30 pm.
