Tyrell's brother Tarik Cohen had just publicly asked if anyone had seen his twin brother just hours prior.

Yahoo - Police say that a Duke Energy employee found Tyrell Antar Cohen's body at a substation newr Raleigh early Sunday morning. Wake County sheriff's spokesman Eric Curry said that Cohen is believed to have been electrocuted while climbing power equipment. He was 25 years old.

Authorities say that Curry may have ended up at the electric substation after fleeing the scene of a car accident. There is no report on if Tyrell was driving the vehicle involved in the accident or what his involvement was at all.

It, unfortunately, is not the first time a brother of Tarik Cohen was a victim of tragedy. His 19-year-old brother, Dante Norman, was shot in June of 2019 and is currently paralyzed from the waist down. After the shooting incident, Tarik Cohen said that his paralyzed sibling became the center of his universe:

I just want to do things for him. I know it's mot possible, but I feel like I want to walk for him. I want to experience things in my life and let him see those things so that he can feel it as if he's done it also.

Tarik Cohen has since deleted his tweet asking followers for help finding Tyrell and has not made any public statements since.

Both incidents with his brothers took place near his hometown in North Carolina.

Cohen has played for the Bears since Chicago drafted him in 2017 and was a Pro Bowl selection his sophomore season in the NFL.
