The Quad City Air Show Returns To Davenport This Weekend

Have you ever wondered what it's like to fly a jet? I've always worried about getting airsick with all that speed, but then I saw Captain Marvel. Now it seems like it might be kind of worth it. Higher, further, faster baby!

Of course, giving someone control of an actual jet is a massive liability and requires an extensive process. But you can get the same feeling without even leaving the ground this weekend. On June 29th and 30th, the Quad City air show is back!

According to WQAD, there will be a a virtual display set up that lets people experience what it’s like to fly a jet. Maybe your kid is a future pilot and you just don't know it yet!

Obviously, there will be real jets flying through, piloted by professionals from the QCA, as well as the Blue Angels. It's the first time in three years the air show will be in Davenport, so you probably don't want to miss it.
