Ski Snowstar is pretty busy during the winter. Skiing, sledding, and other winter outdoor activities...but what happens when it closes for the season?

Ski Snowstar in Andalusia wants to stay open year round. This is a great idea. It would generate more revenue so Snowstar can remain a attraction in Rock Island County for generations to come.

According to KWQC, the owners are asking the county to allow them to remain open to rent out their lodge for special events, hold outdoor events, and build an obstacle or zipline course. So physical fitness? Maybe some military training?

The neighbors to Ski Snowstar are opposed saying there would be a excess of traffic down the road to the ski resort.
