TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS AT ATLANTA FALCONS (-3)

I hate betting for against the Falcons.  I am always on the wrong side.  Let's get it out of the way and I will tell you that I took the Bucs and the points on the road.  The best bet is probably the OVER of 57.  The last time Tampa Bay played, we saw what the Bears did to them and the Steelers had to call off the dogs against the Falcons or else they would have put up 50 or more on them.  Since 2016, Atlanta is 2-2 Against The Spread (ATS) against Tampa Bay and 1-1 ATS in Atlanta.  Under head coach Dan Quinn, the Falcons are 1-8 ATS off back to back straight up (SU) losses.  Your call.  Either way, this game will be awful to watch.  Unless, Quinn gets fired at halftime.  Which I hope he does.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS AT CINCINNATI BENGALS (-2)

I tried to tell you that the Bengals were good and finally Las Vegas is up to speed.  The Steelers have DOMINATED this series in the past 15 years with an unbelievable 13-3-2 ATS in road games played against the Bengals.  Times change and sometimes a Bengals stripes do too.  Cincy (4-1 ATS) is legit and the Steelers are in trouble.  Give up the points and watch the Bengals roll to covering spread.

CHICAGO BEARS (-4) AT MIAMI DOLPHINS

This is going to be a real test of the Bear's #2 defense in the NFL.  Currently the Bears give up 19.0 PPG on the road and the Dolphins score 27.5 PPG at home.  Trubisky needs to keep the offense on the field for a good 34:00 plus minutes to help the Bears win AND cover spread.  Miami is out to prove that they are more of the team that started the season  3-0 and not the team that has been outscored 65-24 in the last 2 SU losses.  There are stories out there that Miami QB TannehillI"s knee is not too great.  I say give up the points, Bear Down, and take the road team.

ARIZONA CARDINALS AT MINNESOTA VIKINGS (-10)

We saw what happened the last time the Vikings were double digit favorites at home.  The Buffalo Bills put a very bad mark in the loss column for them.  The Arizona Cardinals are trying to find their identity on the the offensive side of the ball, as they are currently #31 in the NFL in offense.  Minnesota head coach, Mike Zimmer, can exploit a struggling team as he is 13-5-1 ATS a team with a losing record.  Look for the Vikings to cover this game with ease and the Vikings team O/U 26.5 is a viable play, as well.

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS AT NEW ENGLAND (-3.5)

Like Ric Flair says, "To Be The Man.  You Have To Beat The Man."  That is what Kansas City has to do to finally quiet any critics that are left saying that the league will figure out this offense.  Last week, the Chiefs easily beat the Jaguars but they did allow QB Blake Bottles to throw for 450 yards.  Unfortunately for the Jags, "Bad Blake" showed up on Sunday and threw 4 interceptions.  "Tom Terrific" won't throw 4 picks.  This game is the type of challenge that New England coach Belichick loves.  I like the under here of 58.5.  A lot.  But we have to make a pick.  Something has to give this Sunday.  Kansas City is 5-0 ATS this season and New England is 3-0 ATS at home.  I am hoping that head coach Andy Reid will not repeat his 2017 and I will take the points and back the Chiefs.

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS AT GREEN BAY PACKERS (-9.5)

San Francisco comes to Green Bay banged up and not looking too great for the rest of the 2018 NFL season.  The bright spot, for Iowa fans around here, is CJ Beathard will be the first former Hawkeye to start a Monday Night Football game since Chuck Long did in 1986.  Currently, the 49ers are 0-3 ATS on the road.  The Cardinals defense and the Buffalo Bills defense have similar numbers and the spread is comparable to the -8 when the Bills came to Lambeau and lost 22-0.  Give up the points.  Packers all the way.  Won't be close.
