What's the over/under on how many truly nice Fall days we'll have this year? 12? Maybe? It probably won't be much more than that. We're already supposed to have temperatures near freezing this weekend.

According to the weather experts at KWQC, a cold front is moving in this weekend. Friday is expected to see highs in the 60s in the morning, but lows dipping to the 40s by the end of the day. Come Saturday morning, wind chills will make it feel like temps in the 20 degrees area.

Now, per KWQC, our average first freeze date annually is October 15. So it's not totally crazy, but that doesn't mean it's entirely welcome. We didn't start getting above 40 degrees until May of this year. Please Mother Nature, give us some more time.

In short, if you haven't gotten your sweaters out yet, you're behind. If you've already got hats and gloves ready to go, you're on top of your game.
