Iowa at Iowa State GameDay Guest Picker Contest

2019's version of the battle of the "Cy-Hawk" trophy will have a fun, new start to the day this year.  For the first time in Iowa State Cyclone football history, ESPN's weekly show College GameDay will be on the campus in Ames.

The crew will set up south of the stadium with the Sukup End Zone Club in the background.  Iowa State has announced that lots will open up and tail gaiting will begin at 5:00 a.m.

Although many, many Iowa State Cyclone and Iowa Hawkeye beat writers are not too excited about GameDay in Ames this Saturday, we are.  And we thought we would have some fun with it.

There is much speculation as to who will be the "Celebrity Guest Picker" on Saturday's pre-game show.  Each week, ESPN invites a guest on to the set to pick the winner of the game.  For example, last week GameDay was in Austin, TX for the LSU-Texas game and WWE superstar "The Undertaker" was the guest.

Now that sports wagering is legal in Iowa, we thought it would be fun to set some prop bets on who will be the "Guest Picker" before Saturday's 3:30 P.M. kickoff.  Maybe our friends at Elite Sportsbook at Rhythm City Casino in Davenport or William Hill Iowa at Isle of Capri in Bettendorf would like to take these bets.
