The 2020 NFL Draft was the most watched draft in NFL history.  That is what happens when no other sports are available.

With the draft now concluded, the NFL has released where all these rookies are coming from.  255 players were drafted representing 234 high schools across the country.

If you are wondering how hard it is to get drafted, even in the 7th round, 1 in every 1.2 million Americans were drafted between April 23-25.

While the top states for drafted players (Texas, California, Florida and Georgia) made up about 40% of the draft class, high schools in the midwest also sent players to the NFL.

Illinois had 4 schools represented.  Iowa, "only" one, but that one was in the first round.  To the north of us Wisconsin sent 6 players from their state to the NFL.
