I-74 Bridge Construction Update-Night Closures in Moline

We have another I-74 Bridge construction update for you. River Drive and off ramp closures in Moline start next week.

According to the I-74 Bridge Construction Facebook page, starting Monday, March 8, there will be overnight closures of River Drive between 19th Street in Moline and the I-74 on-ramp will be closed from approximately 8 PM to 5 AM each night Monday through Friday morning, weather permitting.

The overnight closures are anticipated to continue through the end of March. Contractors will be working on overhead I-74 structures and demolition.

The off-ramp from the old Illinois-bound I-74 bridge to River Dr will be closed at the same time River Dr is closed. Motorists will still be able to access the I-74 on-ramp to Iowa.

There will also continue to be daytime lane closures on River Dr between 19th St and 23rd St. through the end of March, weather permitting.
