Two local bakeries are celebrating ways NOT to celebrate Valentine's Day this year.

Baked Beer and Bread Company is celebrating those who care not to celebrate Valentine's Day. The brewery/bakery/restaurant in the East Village of Davenport has planned festivities for Feb. 14, with the theme of "Let's All Eat Our Feelings." According to their Facebook page their 14-hour long event, features an "It's Not Me, It's You," happy hour and treats like edible cookie dough, "Love Sucks"-adorned heart cookies and booze-infused cupcakes.

The event, set for 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Baked, is open to everyone, whether you're celebrating Valentine's, Galentine's or Singles Awareness Day, according to the establishment's owners.

For those who are feeling less than excited about the holiday, the Oh So Sweet by Tiphanie downtown Davenport bakery is also holding an anti-Valentine's Day cookie decorating class starting at 2 p.m. Sunday.

During the class, bakery owner Tiphanie Cannon will take participants through the process of decorating an array of cookies. For tickets, visit facebook.com/OhSoSweetByTiphanie. Enjoy NOT celebrating Valentine's Day this year if you so choose!
