With the top 2 teams in the country both losing over the weekend, and Iowa having another perfect week, it was pretty clear the Hawkeyes would move up in the new AP men's college basketball poll.

While it's only one spot, Iowa did move up from 5th to 4th in this week's poll.

Despite having a 2-0 week themselves, including a tough road win against Oklahoma State Saturday, Iowa State dropped a spot from 13th to 14th.

Coming up this week, the Hawkeyes travel to Bloomington to take on Indiana Thursday night (8 p.m., ESPN) before hosting Minnesota Sunday (6:30 p.m., BTN)   The Cyclones head down south Wednesday to take on Texas Tech (7:30 p.m., 1170 KBOB) before hosting Texas Saturday (7 p.m./1170 KBOB).

Nationally, Villanova has reached the nation's top spot for the first time in school history, Maryland moves up to 2nd and Oklahoma drops from #1 to #3.
