Thought you've already seen the best buzzer beater possible? You may want to rethink that.

An intramural basketball game at Georgia Southern featured a buzzer beater that makes no sense whatsoever.

Loy Waters, who once played for the school's basketball team, took an inbounds pass and then tossed up a prayer -- he fired the shot backwards over his head the length of the court where it swished in like he does this all the time.

With shots like this, maybe he ought to think about suiting up for the team again.

This is the type of shot you A) never see work B) only try when you're fooling around while playing HORSE and C) only try when you're fooling around while playing HORSE because it never works and you figure if you can make it you're a shoo-in to get a letter on your opponent.

Seriously, can you ever remember seeing something like this go in?
