Former Hawkeye Auctioning Off Rose Bowl Tickets For Local Teen Battling Cancer

Being a Quad City native, former Hawkeye and NFL player Julian Vandervelde knew exactly what to do with his two extra tickets to see Iowa play Stanford in the Rose Bowl January 1st.

Vandervelde decided to do a good deed for McGee in return, all of the proceeds from the auction will go towards McGee's medical bills.

Early Monday morning, the highest bid was just over $1,200 for the pair of tickets.  You can bid by emailing Vandervelde at JVZ1987@gmail.com.
