BREAKING! Official Iowa Sports Betting Date Announced

Thursday on ESPN 93.5 FM KJOC's Quad City's ONLY local sports talk radio show, "Don't Hassle Us We're Local", the President of the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission called into the "Hassle Castle" to talk about the status of sports books and sports gambling in the state of Iowa.

Wes Ehrecke, longtime friend of the show, told Jay that the very first LEGALIZED sports bets in the history of state of Iowa will happen on August 15th and 12:00PM. Wes let us know that we were the first in Iowa to report about this.

This means that if Isle of Capri in Bettendorf and Rhythm City in Davenport get their sports books set up, Iowa residents and Illinois residents visiting the Iowa casinos, will be able to make a wager on a sporting event, future or prop bet in EXACTLY FOUR WEEKS!

The Isle of Capri in Bettendorf has already started construction on their William Hill US sports book.

Rhythm City is will be transforming their Draft Day Lounge into their sports book.
